Nazmin you aren’t the only one who is uncertain about life, friends, family, or etc. Everyone has this dilemma, so don’t be ashamed. Sometimes there are situations when you ask two different people for their opinions and get two varied answers. This leaves you deciding which one to choose from.
Of course you can decide for yourself. You can’t always depend on others. However, I think you should think of it this way (in my opinion):

Try to look at each opinions and come up with the pros and cons about each of them. Then you take all the pros from each opinions and put it all together to make it your own. Go with your instinct, and the one that will actually benefit you in the long run.
